Fish Crow, Corvus ossifragus

Fish Crow
The Fish Crow overlaps in range with the familiar and widespread American Crow in the coastal states of the American southeast. In the field, the only reliable feature distinguishing it from its better-known cousin is its "distinctive nasal voice, especially the double-noted Uh-uh" call (Birds of North America Online.)  I heard the high-pitched double-noted nasal call from the crows on the beach at Fort Desoto State Park in St. Petersburg.
