Masked Flowerpiercer, Diglossopis cyanea
Flowerpiercers are tanagers with bills adapted to feed on nectar by piercing the petal-clusters (corollas) of flowers; the two I was able to photograph, the Masked and the Glossy, are found in the temperate forests on the Andes slopes above 8000 feet.
